Just as B&WO was "back to normal..."
« on: March 16, 2006, 11:25:27 PM »
Oscar™-winning actress (Supporting role in Reds, 1981) Maureen Stapleton, who passed on a few days ago, will be getting the "overnight tribute" treatment from GSN this coming Saturday night/Sunday morning. She'll be seen as "Mystery Guest" on two color episodes of What's My Line; one hosted by Wally Bruner, and one by Larry Blyden.

I told you that piece of info to tell you this: I've been lurking at the GSN boards, and I notice that the posters there whine about GSN skipping Daly WML episodes to air these late night tributes; while some of us here aren't as vocal about it. Either that or we're probably "holding our peace."

Comments? Flames, even?

Cordially,
Tammy Warner--the 'Melanie Wilson of the Big Board!'

Any Bruner and/or Blyden episode is always a pleasure to view.
We get John Charles & Friends just about every other day of the calendar.
I love seeing those color programs every now and again. Too bad it takes a death to make it happen.

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

Don't see the big deal...just TV...and eventually GSN will get back to the "skipped" episodes.
