My apologies in advance if someone already posted, and I didn't catch it....

Check the official NBC Deal or No Deal site ... they've added a blog written by the mysterious Banker himself.  It seems the guy's getting some fanmail....

And if that doesn't tell NBC that the Banker wants and needs to be an on-camera speaking role, I don't know what does. :)

You've got to be kidding.  The whole allure of that part of the game is that there is a faceless, voiceless mysterious person on the other end of Howie's phone.

He's like Michael Myers from Halloween.  You can't reason with him, you can't even communicate with him.  He's just out to get you.

I half expected to see an entry containing something like "That lady broke my damn phone!"...

Amen.

Methinks I'll write NBC promotions to run the Banker promo again, just revised with SOTs from Howie.

Thank god for the $5 ep, since that makes for great b-roll.

I dunno...I think Howie does a great job of making the Banker a good character.  I'm not sure how much I want to see them risk screwing that up by bringing him into the conversations.

I believe it'd be a shark-jump. Just like if Charlie's face had been revealed to The Angels and as if Jack McGee had found out that David Banner was The Hulk. The appeal is a lot higher when the audience wonders, "Maybe tonight's the night we'll get to see him". Of course, if that ever was to happen, The NBC Spoiler Machine would be working overtime: AT LAST! YOU'LL SEE AND HEAR THE MYSTERIOUS BANKER! DEAL OR NO DEAL. NBC TONIGHT!

I think that NBC and GSN should team up and have a Banker vs. Inquizitor death match.

I can confirm that the Inquizinkinator would be happy to officiate.

That can be reserved for Celebrity Cooking Showdown, Dave.  Secret ingredient?  Hot Potato. *ducks and runs*
