[/quote]That's the problem. You're using it as a crutch. The better thing to do is to learn how to spell properly, then you won't need spell checker. Believe me, when you misspell a word so elementary as "maby"...you don't appear smart.

No no no no no. He's shown a commitment to make an effort, and he shouldn't be dumped on for that.
That said, Shredder, Travis illustrates why this stuff matters...if you want your posts to be taken seriously, you should care that it's easy to read. And misspellings and poor grammar make things harder to read. Props to you if you can get that working. The reason I pointed out Spellbound Development (the second link) is because it's the only browser spellchecker that I have found that has a spell-as-you-type function...as you're writing a post it will underline questionable words with a red dotted line, and you can Ctrl-Click on them and have it suggest corrections or add a word that you KNOW is right to the custom dictionary, just like a real word processor.
