Ken Jennings was only scheduled to host trivia games on Friday and present awards on Sunday during the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament. The surprise was his decision to also compete in the 29th annual tournament, concluded today in Stamford, Connecticut.
Ken found himself presenting an award to himself - he won the C Division title (which is where most new puzzlers are placed) and the top Rookie.
For his efforts, Ken won a few dollars less than he did on "Jeopardy!" - $250.
