The Swedes have their own version with a slick FLASHgame (http://www.blip.se) and video-clips on their website.

It seems like other countries either do DoND in an original style, or they copy the style of another country's. Is this the first one that appears to take from the US version?

Also, are there any other countries that use 24 cases as opposed to 26 or 22? Or any other number for that reason? I've only ever heard of it as 26 or 22.

I believe the one in Italy plays with 20 boxes.

It's interesting after seeing that clip from the swedish site - that here we are in North America thinking we've got the new and different set that blows all the others away - and yet, here's the proof that we aren't alone in that concept.

Mind you, if they just premiered with the show.. it might may more sense. :)

Ive seen about 5 or 6 DoND from around the world, still my favorite is Noel Edmonds set wise, perfect for a day time show.

Anyone know if the Swedes have the button, I see no real need for this.

In the US its for S&P's purposes mainly.  However, it does an a useful prop to the show..it does allow someone to signal intent.
