Not next Monday, the Monday after next.

And the set looks the same, but a tad bit more dazzling.

Yeah.. no more Light bulbs. Now we get fancy Neon instead. Not a huge change in still photos, but it sounds like the set will really come to life on Video. Now the contestant backdrop Wall will air Live Video from around the country. Thats kind of a cool element. I'm putting in my request to see if they'll broadcast me eating my dinner. :-)

But tie it into the show!

Such as during a Food & Drink category \"Spaghetti and Meatballs\" while you're eating... spaghetti and meatballs.

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

Ummm, I may be the dissenting vote on this, but I really don't see what makes this set any better than sets previous.

I didn't look at the website picture, but it sure kicks ass in person. I posted here a month or two ago about the new set. Its most obvious attribute is its awesome lighting - it was phenomenal flying through a zillion different colors during testing.

Beyond that, you know how everybody posts how set pieces like TPIR's are unimpressive without the proper lighting? Well, under the glare of flouescents with none of its effects, this thing looked hot. More than not being scuffed from years of abuse, none of it has that painted wood look. It's all done in non-reflective metallics and cool plastic. But then again, while hot up close, it may \"read\" as crap on TV (although I doubt it  ;-)

On a related note, Charlie O e-mailed me to happily announce that he signed for another four years. The Wheel - long may it spin!

Well, It looks very.....neon-y.

Maybe it's just me, but I prefer (comparing to the small picture on the site) last seasons design over this up-coming seasons design.  Probably just me though.

Having just seen the photo of the new set myself, I have to say, the phrase \"It looks exactly the same, except different\" been more accurate. Frankly I'll be surprised if they even acknowledge it next Monday.

They won't acknowledge it Monday, because it is the Monday after next.

And believe, they spent a lot of money on it... they'll acknowledge it.

Has \"VASECTOMY\" already been used as a bonus puzzle?

Looks more like a tweaking to me, but I'll have to see it on the TV screen before I'll pass final judgment on it.  Still, I like what I've seen of it thus far!

I have to admit, the tech-y talk about it on the website was pretty neat.
