On the today's gadget podcast titled The Daily Giz Wiz, hosted by former TechTV host Leo Laporte and Mad's "Maddest Writer" Dick DeBartelo, before talking about the today's gadget, Dick told stories about Match Game.

He mentions about Gene's microphones, how boring the fill-in-the-blank statements were and how he got Mark Goodson to basically say "yes" in wanting to write risque questions during a period in 1973 when CBS initially decided not to renew.
