Supermarket Sweep on GSN?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if there was a rumor going around about Supermarket Sweep coming to GSN.  I had never heard about it until something on Wikipedia that said reruns may be airing sometime in 2006.

Anyone know about this?

Wikipedia, while providing some morsels of fact, is not a reliable source.  It's a user entry-authored encycolopedia, hence the user may just make something up.  After all this was the same site that suggested a spanish language version of Press Your Luck would debut in January of this year.

All that said, I'd like for it to happen, though.

Is this the same one that's supposed to debut in Mexico and air later on Univision (per Wiki)? (When I saw the entry, it mentioned that it'll start "sometime" in 2006.)

They probably changed it, I'm fairly sure that back in the fall they had January in place of sometime.

I remember watching SS on PAX and Lifetime, I loved the music, the show was fun, although it didn't require much knowledge for some of the questions. I liked the CANADIAN Supermarket Sweep as well. That would be interesting if it came to GSN, but DON'T REPLACE the good shows on in the day like Super Password among others.
