RENO, Nev. -- It was a holiday to remember for one California couple.

They hit it big over the Labor Day weekend at Nevada's Reno Hilton. The couple won $3.5 million at a Wheel of Fortune slot machine.

According to slot maker International Game Technology, the couple had just played $3 before hitting the jackpot. They've asked not to be identified.

The couple says they'll use their new fortune to pay off their home and invest the rest.

I love the Wheel slots. I play them a lot when I visit Atlantic City. (I'm not so much a fan of the J! slots...the video slots are better for J!)

Speaking of Atlantic City, I have to make it to the Borgata.
