Family Feud Marathon

Hey everyone,

Since I don't have GSN, I didn't see the marathon today.  What did they show from each run?  Was it consecutive?

Thanks,
Adam

I didn't watch most of it, but I believe it alternated between an hour of Dawson shows and an hour of Combs shows.  The Dawson shows were from the 70's part of the original run for the most part.  I'm not sure what era Combs shows were from, but Ray did have a clipon mike for one I saw, so I suspect they showed some of his early shows as well.

Some of the episodes were definitely early Dawson, as they had the tall plungers for the face-off, as well as Dawson introducing the "next family" after Fast Money.

Were there any "memorable" episodes or were they just seemingly random?  The only episode I recognized was the Baedeker ep. following the one were the bad answers were given.

I watched about three or four episodes of it and they seemed to have picked shows that had some references to mothers in them.  References like Richard announcing the tape date as his mother's birthday and a main game question dealing with mothers.

Its amazing how energized Dawson was in the beginning. In the afternoon run now the contrast is apparent to say the least.

Hey Don, that's a game show reference!

I heard someone say that in line at the grocery store too, they must have been Tom Kennedy fans!
