I'm not betting on this being a pilot for anything. It's a summer bit to try and find an audience with a little bit of nostalgia. Gonna be fun, gonna be something my inflatable wife (yeah, I took the big step) are gonna watch, but don't get your hopes up; the networks would rather show us people getting their heads chopped off by trains.
This isn't a plug, but you can ask me about my book.

At the risk of sounding like an egghole, with the exception of MG, all of the shows in the marathon are either on the air now or have already been revived to lukewarm results within the last five years.  I'm assuming the MG revival "What the Blank?" is not going forward on FOX.  The marathon is just a fun summertime diversion.

I half expected Coolio to be in the celebrity list since he'd been hitting almost every game show that took celebraties lately...

In a refreshing change of pace, Coolio...was not available.

Coolio turned out to be not as bad a Pyramid player as many feared, winning against Dick Clark in one game of the 11/26/02 episode, no less.

I'd be happy if the Game Show Marathon led to the return of one of the component shows.  Of course, given the lack of originality on the networks nowadays, I wouldn't be the least bit shocked to see "CSI:PYL" or even "Your Numb3rs Up."

As for the other topic of this thread, anyone seeking help with an inflatable girlfriend or wife should contact Bo Bielefeldt at 1-555-AIR-PUMP.

I think you completely missed both of their points.

Of course not...but sometimes I like to give him benefit of the doubt. I know better, but I guess I'm a sucker for punishment. ;-)

Remember 1998's Match Game?  That wasn't that long ago.

Hopefully that punishment is compounded by the knowledge that he's bouncing up and down in his little chair right now, thrilled that people are talking about him and that his threadjack made him the center of attention.
I don't think that was the knock, I think the knock was that we were supposed to say "my inflatable girlfriend and I". :)

Clearly, though, we need to get Wuthrich an inflatable girlfriend to call his own. :)
Yes, that was the knock.  And as for your offer, I have to say NO DEAL! :-D
