FF on Letterman last night
« on: June 29, 2006, 09:59:04 AM »
David Letterman did one of his old shticks last night.

He said, "Show me...", and then the FF board would appear, and the answer would (or would not) show up.

For example, he said, "Show me John Kerry", and, John Kerry's name showed up on the board.

I wonder - was this done to promote GSM's FF championship tonight?

Did they mention it? If so, that's your answer. If not, then you already know and this is yet another crap post.

I've given up responding to Henke's pointless game show references posts. It just ain't worth it. Even a dalmatian has a higher IQ.

Henke, I'm sure it's a nice summer day outside your trailer.  Turn off Mommie's computer, zip up and go out and enjoy the day.  We'll get by without you.  Really.  I'm not kidding.

Certainly hope so.  Maybe they can get as far as the Seahawks did a year ago.  If not farther.  :)

(Letterman):  Show me "SCARECROW"

And the board reveals:   "BRIAN HENKE"

To further add to Henke's track record, Letterman has done this bit on his show before. The last time I saw it, it was the Combs version board, meaning it was just probably some old tape lying around.

And no, he did not mention the GSM finale.

I wonder if Brian has took that copy/paste class yet... :-P

When Dave did the bit with the Combs-era board, it was pretty obvious that they had actually done up a "special" board for him to shoot clips of--there were 12 "answers", and Oprah came up a lot. Assuming the bit he did tonight was similar to what he did last night, he's scavenging actual Karn-era clips for it.

I'd like the ceramic Dalmatian for $270, Pat, and put the rest on a gift certificate.
