Another game show song

Lingo Rock sort of inspired me to write a game show song, this one is called

\"The John Davidson Song\" (to the tune of \"That's Entertainment\")

(Note: You must watch the 100k Pyramid finale to get the reference)

John, he has hosted the squares
Yes it's John, with that phony hair
Time Machine, that we couldn't bear
\"Great entertainment.\"

John, he hosted Pyramid too
Read cue cards, that he wouldn't do
Hey Dick Clark, you really should sue
\"Great entertainment\"

John, with great singing aside
Game show host, oh he really tried
Spite it all, he just couldn't provide
\"Great entertainment\"

Hillarious ! Allow me to explain for those of you who don't get it.

At this summeres GSC. We were all sitting down watching Davidson's Pyramid and we all started to make fun of all the corny things he was saying (Which included \"Gosh, nobody's won the pot o'gold yet !\", \"There having a confrence to decide !\") and we just got fixated on the cheesy way he proclamed that they were all a source of \"Great Entertainment\". There wasn't a hour that went by that someone did not make a Davidson/Great Entertainment joke !

I'll go off topic for $50. John's talk show of the early '80s had a pretty good theme song.  I used to catch the end of it on WOR (when it was on cable) waiting for \"Pitfall\" to come on.
