Is there any chance of Classic Concentration being shown on GSN in the near future?

No.

(Slightly longer answer: NBC, who owns the rights controls several cable networks that are in competition with GSN. Ergo, they do not feel inclined to help them.)

Considering that NBC owns it, and that there hasn't been any indication of its willingness to license it to GSN at a price that GSN is willing to pay, the answer is "probably not."

Well, they'll sell "Dog Eat Dog" and "TWL" to GSN (or "Fear Factor" to FX, for that matter)--but the current stance at GSN is that they'd rather have the programming money go to original shows than for plugging holes in their daytime lineup--and that's exactly where any version of "Concentration" would end up.  Yeah, they renewed the G-T library, but that's the backbone of their daytime lineup.

Never say never, but always say highly improbable!  Concentration, Scrabble, and Sale of the Century will likely never air on GSN.  There was a time and place when GSN marketed the arrival of classic game shows to their lineup and promoted them.  Then 2001 came around, lol.  As was said earlier, it's all about the original programming and the quasi reality programming by and large too.  Hence we see promos for The Amazing Race, Lingo, and the New I've Got A Secret...and occasionally a commercial for the daytime block of classic game shows lumped together.

Personally, I think GSN's moving back towards traditional game shows...their attempts at adding video game and reality shows flopped, and the success of IGaS and Lingo, along w/the addition of the new Chain Reaction, may have convinced them that there's still interest in the genre after all.
