It's just like this science project I worked on as a kid. I tried to build a perpetual motion machine, but I just couldn't stop.

/hey, if everyone else can do a lame joke, I can too...

Two more things you didn't know.

Players who spin "bankrupt" on Wheel of Fortune don't actually go bankrupt. Their scores just go down to zero.

Jack Narz, Tom Kennedy (his brother) and Bill Cullen (his brother-in-law) have planned to breed a race of superhosts who are more glib than anyone has ever been imagined!

I tried taping this the last time they ran Game Shows:  The Invisible Years.  But when I looked at my tape, there was nothing on it - and I was hoping to get a nice collectible  :(
[/quote]

I taped it too...but taped "Casino" with Jim Perry over it, where my uncle was a contestant, and cursed at Jim when he lost the bonus.

I taped over that too. AGIOT?

I know someone else who had it, but he lost it when he got depressed and went on a drinking binge.

Oddly enough, I got the first few seconds of it on my TiVo!!!  What was strange was the show went to black after the opening scene when Jack Narz said "Now You See It...Now You Don't".

ATGS Retro Presents: CASINO, October 1999.

Starts kinda slow, but gets better and better.

Okay, do I know this Jekalb guy by another name?

And where's the part where he gets conclusively disproven and subsequently pwned?

My money's on comment #19, courtesy of Michi-Matt. ;-)

Ah yes, few utterances can make me laugh at their mention, but seeing "Jekalb" brings it all back. Just to make sure the record is straight on this once and for all: am I right in that "Casino" was an H/Q-produced pilot hosted by Jim Perry, and it's merely this ridiculous story that's in question?

I think that's the only part of the thread that's confirmed. There's been other rumors, which came up in the thread (not involving drunken, 40-Year-Old Virgins).

The only clip I know of is from the movie "Videodrome", which still pops up from time to time on SciFi Channel. That is one twisted movie.
