99% says no, because it's still a decent way away.

And I'm sure that once word comes out, it'll be broken here first.

Hold your horses.

I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

“We’re game show fans. ‘Weird’ comes with the territory.” - Matt Ottinger, 2022

There's a possibility of a 2 hour primetime special celebrating 35 years of Price & Bob's 50 years on Television.

It may or may not (otherwise, next year) tape by the end of the year.

Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Is there a possibility of you linking to your source for that?

Plus, I overheard a couple of guys in the rest room at bw-3 talking about it. The companion and I are going bowling later so maybe we'll learn more.
Say, if it applies to any of you, Happy Father's Day.

If he did indeed hear this from two people working on the show, that is a reasonable source.

However, it'd be nice if he could share names.

With all the news I've posted over the years, I'm just curious why all of a sudden I'm being called on the carpet for this. Maybe it was the way I wrote it. You sure as hell can't group me in with other fanbois who get inaccurate information and post it as the written word of g_d.

The information I've posted over the years (here and on usenet) has been pretty damn accurate. I'm not known for getting information from the bowling profession.

I don't want this thread to get ugly, so I'll just say I believe my word is good enough.

Was he being snippy? He merely asked a question.

Now, Don's comment and whoserman's followups, considering cmjb13's rep for accuracy, those were snippy.

Perhaps I was misinterpreted. I would like to clarify my statement.

Cmjb, you are very reliable when it comes to this. You've never steered us wrong near as I can recall. Obviously, it has been an issue with others here. With all the "I heard this, I heard that" statements that have been made, I was simply saying that making a habit of citing your sources, regardless of your reputation, is a good idea.

I have no reason whatsoever to doubt your authority, but you know sure as hell there are others here who are waiting to pounce all over people who slip up. If you immediately come out with your source, which turns out to be quite irrefutible in this case (and most cases), people won't have the opportunity to attack you. I wasn't trying to attack you myself. If it seemed like it was, I apologize.

Very true. I'll blame it on a combination of the hangover and my speedreading. My apologies.
