Well, Bil said that from now on, all half-hour shows in the countdown will have two episodes featured. That sounds like very good news, and the chance of seeing The Amazing Race looks very bleak.
[/quote]

If that is true there are 7 shows and 4 hours left, which means there are three shows we won't see.

I am guess no Price, no wheel, and since it is in no promos no Jeopardy!

Yeah, looking at the schedule, what I heard Bil say may have been incorrect.

If there is no TPiR, WoF or J!, then all heck's going to break loose, not just on these boards or the GSN boards, but the whole Game show fan base. TPiR is arguably the #1 Game show of all time, and WoF and J! are mega-hits in the syndicaton world.

This is why some genius invented the DVR....time to Rewind Live TV (damn I love that concept) and see just exactly if it WAS said

EDIT: Son of a bitch.  "Double doses of the shows at the top of the list".   I'm just...damn....Price, LMAD, and Wheel get the shaft, I've got my money now, then.  I even went back and rewatched it just to make sure I heard exactly what he said.   Yeesh.

If we are interpreting Bill correctly, this is what I'm assuming the schedule will be like. This is not what I want to be seen, this is what GSN would most likely show

7. Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
6. Let's Make A Deal
5. Jeopardy! (No episode shown)
4. Family Feud
3. Wheel of Fortune (No episode shown)
2. The Price is Right (No episode shown)
1. Match Game

I misssed the 50 Billion promos...DID they show a LMAD clip in the promo?  If not, ain't no way it gets shown now.  (Heck, I could have sworn they lost the rights, so....)

You're seriously suggesting that they're straight-up not going to air THREE of their TOP FRIGGIN' FIVE? Two of which they DO have rights to? Are you really serious? Do you have two tens for a five?

'Cuz, I mean, I know GSN has screwed this thing up writ large, but that would be about the most moronic move of all time. In fact, I'm not sure what's more moronic, between suggesting that and actually DOING that.

I was just basing this on GSN's mindset, and what has not been shown on promos or the press releases

So if you are right on which ones will be shown, GSN will have a special on the greatest game shows and will not show episodes of the two shows that have been on for 30 straight years!!

Bil 'imself said they were double-dipping from here on, which would mean that no matter HOW you slice it 2 of the 5 are dead-in-the-water.  (They could "get away" with "only" two gone by double dipping 5 and not 6)

That one little sentence just drained EVERY last possible ounce of interest I had in this.   Not only did they manage to royally tick off just about everyone at some point or another, either via absurd choices (Freakin' Studs), or asinine airing procedures (3 of the top six NOT GETTING AIRED - when they have the rights to, at last count, WoF, J!, FF, MG, WWTBAM, and possibly LMAD)...nevermind this nonsense didn't increase their ratings among ANY demo OneDamnBit.

...Seriously...just....wow.

LMAD was in the promo. The rights expire in September, so I'd imagine there will be an episode.

In the mean time, Jeopardy! must be shown. They have rights to it. Of course they could give it the shaft like they did BtC.

If it's given the shaft, all heck's going to break loose.  Same with WoF and TPiR.

EDIT: I am now pretty sure no TPiR episode will be shown, and I think we can expect no episode. Still, in the matter of WoF, and J!, I think it'll break loose. But you never know w/ anything.

FREAKIN' STUDS.

Yes there is a Deal clip in the promo.  It is only the title but it is there!

Next up: a $100K Pyramid ep, featuring one of the show's big winners.

Ooh, look, a $100,000 Pyramid that GSN has rerun a half-dozen times from '86.  They're airing *this* instead of Wheel (which opinion of the show be damned deserves to be ran), or J!, or LMAD, or Price, or whatever they're screwing over??

I'm suggesting you're touched in the head if you think GSN is gonna blow off three of their top five.
