I have that exact quote on my website and it doesn't explain itself like you say it does. It says "everything we have left will appear in two-episode form, starting with Pyramid." I'm just not making that final leap of logic that says it can only mean "I swear on ten warehouses full of bibles we'll show anything in the world but The Price is Right" and nothing else.
I think, though, that logic would suggest something pretty close to that. IF we take the Dwyer quote at face value (and there are reasons why it doesn't make a lot of sense) then three of the last six shows are not going to be seen. Millionaire, Match Game and Family Feud are three of their most popular shows, Wheel and Jeopardy less so, and Price, of course, they don't have at all. On the surface, then, the most logical assumption is that the first three will be shown, and the last three won't. Is it possible that they could surprise us with Price and not show one of the others? Sure, but that doesn't seme remotely as likely as the other explanation.
The problem with that is that it just doesn't seem logical that they'd not show Wheel and Jeopardy, when they made room for $1.98 Beauty Show and Shop Til You Drop. Unless, perhaps, Sony has a deal with KingWorld that keeps those two shows out of prime time on GSN.
