I have among the channel offerings on Dish Network  Satellite TV "The RFD Network" which as the name suggests, is a channel dedicated to rural/farm type programming..Among it's shows are the "Show-Biz" Productions originally out of Nashville (Produced through WSM-TV 4) Country Music Shows from the 1960's-to about 1980..Most of these shows were on weekend TV lineups when originally broadcast.  One of these shows is "Country Place" (1970-71) Hosted by Jim Ed Brown, The show was set in a somewhat cheesy looking Cabin setting..among the regulars was a fellow named Blake Emmons..Is this the same one that guest hosted Chain Reaction in the 1980's?  I know his name has been brought up here before..was just curious..

Simple answer: same guy.

From Country Place regular, to jingle writer, to Joker's Wild contestant, to lousy Chain Reaction host, to perpetual obscurity. Poor Blake.
