I found the show/format to be ok, but all of the stalling (It was very obvious that they didn't test any of the graphics at all.) just killed the mood for everyone. The warm-up announcer was sort of annoying (Although his Fred Sanford imitation was pretty funny.), with his whole "THIS CANDY IS LIKE DRUGS LOLZZZZ UR DRESSED IN SLUTTY CLOTHES SO U GET 4329856294386 TONS OF CANDAY1!!". The host, Dylan Lane wasn't too bad for his first job, but I can't understand how he was hired over other people. I left after the first epsiode, simply because I couldn't stand the stalling (The idiot girls had to get re-takes because they had to look excited, even though they enjoyed staring at the male team more than playing.). Plus, they chose two stupid teams. The girls were too busy making terrible jokes (And they were COMEDIANS?!) and shaking their butts. The boys were just plain stupid, repeating words the girls had said! Atleast pick smart contestants, jeez. And thus endth thy (boring) rant.

I wonder if this version of CR will make Invisioners defend the USA run(even Blake's 11 weeks) more than they have in the past, much like MG98 made ATGSers defend MG90 more than they did prior to its debut.

I liked the USA run! I thought it was good, except for that disaster that is Blake Emmons. Talk about a guy who doesn't have that game show look/voice...

Hey, on second thought, how did he get that job anyway?!

IIRC, Canada law requires at least 1 Canadian be on-camera too...

Blake was a Canuck. Rod Charlebois and Geoff's end-of-show shtick was in part because of Rod being a Canuck.

Yeah, CanCon laws are weird, and I dunno if it requires that a Canadian be on camera ALL the time, but there's certainly a provision that they be there at least for some period.

I thought somebody throw out a percentage once (which would certainly account for Rod doing the Missing Link and being around for the contestant intros, too) but that might've been a joke I took too seriously.

No, I'm pretty sure there is in fact a hard-and-fast minimum percentage, I'm just too lazy and not interested enough to do the research and find out exactly what that percentage is. :)

And that's where our own resident IdiotSavant chimes in.

Then I should clarify: I have more of a life than to find out what percentage that is. If anyone else chooses to display that they themselves do not, that is certainly their option. :)

Sad bit of game show geekery:  While traveling this past week, I saw a semi with mud flaps from Charlebois Trucking.  Guess who came immediately to mind.
