You know, I'm honestly getting sick and tired of folks jumping down someone's throat just because they reposted an article. Not everyone is going to realize that the article is old news, and just because someone reposts it, it doesn't mean they're lazy. Lighten up already.

Seconded.
Reposting articles is going to happen from time to time. I'm truly annoyed by it only when it's clear that it actually did happen out of laziness, obstinacy, or both. Witness the members (who shall remain nameless in this post) who reposted a news item very shortly after the original mention because they didn't bother to look at the first page or two of posts; who didn't bother to check the correct forum at all, even after being told to do so numerous times; who didn't even know that the correct forum existed because they didn't listen to the many, many mentions of its creation; or whose repetition of "news" came out of a severely misguided insistence that anything posted to the Internet or heard from a bowling buddy must be legitimate.
Mr. Parrish does not appear to be guilty of any of the offenses above, and if we find otherwise, he'll be subjected to repeated showings of Malcolm (some of which will be run backwards for maximum pain). He seems to have made a good-faith effort, and that's really all we can ask.
