If this is old news and I'm one of the last ones to know about this, my apologies. I couldn't contain my glee over downloading the full version of best Password theme ever. [/i]
All I've seen posted anywhere is an artificially extended cut of the main theme.
For those who want to hear the REAL full theme in the clear, go here to check out T.Q's Game Show Music Page, Section P!

Also in that section: The Party Game? What the heck was that?

Wow; even I'm surprised about this one. I'll see if I can get the full-quality original MP3 from him to put up.

Looking at the file information for the Password All-Stars "vamp" music, it also says that it's an unused MG73 cue. Considering the musical similarities between the vamp and the main All-Stars theme, does that mean they cannibalized that vamp to get that great theme?

I'm sure someone will correct me, but that seemed interesting to me.

As per a Google search of ATGS, it was a Canuck based charades game show from the 70s.

Wow!! And there's some other great stuff there, too, including the J! 78 opening theme (January, February, March) and a MUCH cleaner version of the full People's Court theme.

Also of note is one heck of a Mort Garson Moog-fest----the "Magnificent Marble Machine" theme. Also spotted the "Debt" theme and vamp, and one of the themes from "Funny You Should Ask".

There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

Wasn't that Password All-stars vamp originally composed as think music for Match Game? I think Casey shared it with us originally, along with two other songs, as three unused Match Game think cues.

Nice to hear "The Girl in My Life" again.  Check it out if you haven't yet.  More faves: "Celebrity Bowling" and the aforementioned "Funny You Should Ask" Lots of memories jogged.

No, I think Score just mislabeled it as such.

I've never followed the music-cue collecting as much as other stuff, but man, that is one impressive website.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
