They put a bug on the rerun today several times and the promo is also saying that the new shows start Monday. Well, that wasn't a smart move with Wheel and J! starting new shows on 9/8 also.

This is old news, and besides, Wheel and J! also moved THEIR premieres one week later than usual. Maybe it's a King World thing, not a bad programming strategy.

I thought that had always been the case. The first taped week of shows will air the week after next, but the season premiere is next week (the premiere week being a week of special shows that appear to tie in with that Dickie Roberts movie/child stars theme). Since next week is a week of special shows, the new rules don't kick in until the week of the 15th, right?

I forgot all about the Dickie Roberts promo, but yeah, the 2/3 rule starts the 15th, so technically the \"real premiere\" is remaining consistent (mid-September).

Especially considering that by starting a new season the week after Labor Day, there aren't any Jerry Lewis telethon or U.S. Open tennis pre-emptions to worry about (or in the case of ABC, a golf tournament this year on Labor Day that pre-empted \"J!\" in Chicago and other ABC affils that air the show in fringe).  It's even more in \"H2\"'s favor, since it's in far fewer access slots than its sister shows (both the tennis and Jerry end in time for access on Labor Day, barring sports pre-emptions for Jerry that delay the telethon a few hours).

The difference is the new shows are scheduled A WEEK EARLIER than what was reported before.

 Woolery left wheel.

How does that hurt H2? And the answer is that it doesn't matter.

It wasn't a \"move\" at all.  Funny how the original report was incorrect.
