Global Star Software, which will be releasing new Family Feud video/computer games this month, will be releasing a PC game based on Deal or No Deal in November. There's no mention of any Playstation/other video game versions anywhere. Here is a link to its listing at amazon.com:

Even though there's going to be some decent PS2 offerings in the coming months, I wouldn't expect that to continue into the next holiday season when the next-gen consoles would be in full swing.

It used to be that Infogrames/Hasbro Interactive got all the Game Show games. This time around, it's Take Two Interactive (they own GS). Interesting.

Take Two had acquired the rights to the Nintendo 64 versions of WOF and J! from Gametek back in 1997. Although Gametek had the rights to those shows, as well as Family Feud, it was only the rights to the Nintendo versions that Take Two acquired, while the rights to PC and other non-Nintendo versions were in the hands of Hasbro/Infogrames.

Today, over at the Buzzer blog site, I saw a posting that Jakks Pacific, which released Plug-&-Play WOF last year, will be making a P&P version of DOND, in 2007.

There was also mention that MGA Entertainment, which just released the $100,000 Pyramid DVD game, has signed a deal to make DVD game versions of Jeopardy! and WOF.
