Le marathon des jeux televisés
« on: August 18, 2006, 07:36:36 PM »
So I'm flipping around the dial tonight and I land on RFO (Radio France Outremer - sorta like TV5, but exclusively things from the France Télévisions) and there's something that sounds like it's going to be Game Show bloopers.

Well in fact it's not.  Indeed it is Game Show Marathon in France!

From what I can tell, it's just a one night thing.  From the very quick trailer, it appears to be:

Que le meilleur gagne! (Everybody's equal/Whittle)
L'academie des neuf (HS)
Questions pour un champion (Going for Gold)
La famille en or (Feud)
and I've totally gone blank on the fifth format.

They've just got through the qualifier on QLMG! and it appears that while civvies in the audience start in the game, they are then represented by one of 12 celebs.

I now will go and enjoy the rest!  Just thought you guys and girls might be intersted to know... also they are interspersing other clips in the game (there was a question about Chiffres et Lettres in the QLMG qualifier).

Cheers,

Ryan.

EDIT: The fifth format is "Fa Si La Chanter" (a play on words - Fa Si La Chanter is pronounced Facile a Chanter - Easy to Sing) - it's basically the French version of Name that Tune.
