Wow. Everyone was right. That was very touching indeed. Dick is absolutely right. Everyone should be so lucky to have their dreams come true.

Bravo reran the Emmys last night and I tuned in just to see Dick. He's not 100% but it is a much more encouraging picture than what we saw New Year's Eve. I don't think we've seen the last of him.

And by the way... Simon Cowell... read that invitation again... especially the part that reads BLACK TIE REQUESTED.

Dick warning of a crabby producer made me smile :-) Tee hee

I still say that it looks like America's Oldest Teenager got old in a hurry.  Just goes to show how lucky we are that he's still around.  Simon's words were spot on correct, and here's to hoping that doesn't change anytime soon.

Has Chris Lemon become Yoda all the sudden? :-)

I think Dick telling everyone to "sit down" is a good testament of his modesty as well. Sure, he's been on TV for a little over half a century, but his ego is in check. I think we definitely saw more of Dick's personality at the Emmys than we did with the New Years special.

Yeah I think we have, I finally saw the tribute on Bravo and I had to admit, he sounded a bit better. He won't be the same, yes, but at least we know he still had the humor in him. Well he wasn't on camera that long on new year's eve..was he? I forgot..anyways..I still have my respect for the man to appear on tv despite recovering from a stroke.
