Prisoner of Trebekistan

Bob Harris' book, Prisoner of Trebekistan, is now in bookstores in hardcover.  Based on just Harris' half-hour reading at Congreff5, this book sounds like an entertaining read.  The people I talked with after the reading had similar thoughts.

Check with your local bookstore to see if they have it.  Two of four Borders within a reasonable drive from home or work didn't have it in stock.  The Barnes and Noble down the street from me had multiple copies sitting smack-dab in the center of the new arrivals table at the store's main entrance.

I've got both Trebekistan and Brainiac (JenKennings' new book) on their way from Amazon, as soon as they deem fit to send them both (Brainiac isn't officially out for another 5 days). It's been too long since I read any good non-fiction.

I just finished reading Prisoner and I can't recommend it highly enough.  Admittedly, we're the choir as far as the preaching of this book is concerned, but it's truly a delightful read.  Mr. Harris has clearly won the greatest prize a game can offer: it's not the cars, or the money, or even the Bon-Ami cleanser.  Jeopardy has changed his life for the better, in ways we can all appreciate whether or not we spend any time standing behind a podium.

Read this book.

And anyone else who bumps a seven year old thread when they can simply create a new thread.

Don't fully disagree with you on your original point but why go to the trouble if you don't have to? I mean, if I want to revisit a topic that was last discussed forever and a day ago, I'm going to create a new thread about it.
