A teen version of TPIR would never work. The teens are just gonna bid "420" on everything.

More like $69 and $666, dude!  :-p

Nice ones, Tim!

And, for the more expensive prizes, "1337".

How can the kids pay for [car] insurance? I bet mommy and daddy are too cheap to pay for it (I know mine are...) and I don't think there are any geckos out there to help the kids' cause either.

Long story short, the game doesn't work. Sure its an okay idea on paper, but in practice in the real world of daytime television...I wouldn't want to watch (or host or announce) it with a 10 foot pole.

Oh yeah! You can have Ashlee Simpson sing "come on down" as the theme...

/ and I would need a cyanide pill immediately after hearing it.
// would Gary Coleman respond with "whatchu talking about rich fields?"

They could bring back "Bump".  It fits in this thread nicely now.

Those showcases might be a little tough.  How about a $5000 Hot Topic gift card, a $10000 Hollister gift card and a $10000 gift card to the Mall of America. (How the kid would get there is his own problem.)  What would make it challenging would be the math.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

WHY does this keep coming up?

Although the Australian version did have special shows where younger kids played with their grandparents/parents (The Generation Gap) The type of audience our version attracts probably wouldn't work with this.

All of a sudden, that week when Jimmie Walker guest-hosted Matchmaker doesn't seem that bad.

I'm just getting people's different opinions. I know it may not happen, but hey, it could.

You're getting lots of people's very strong opinions.  You're just not paying attention to them.
