Teens generally don't shop retail for washer-dryers, living room sets or even a jar of olives.  I guess you'd have to tailor the show to offer apparel or video games or the like.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Which leads to a very special Grand Game with 6 different acne medications.  "I'm sorry, Bobby, but the Proactiv was way over the target price."

By the rules of algebra, PS1 + PS2 = PS3.  I can probably find a PS1 for next to nothing, while a new PS2 system is $130.  Therefore, I have proven you can purchase a PS3 for half that $300 price tag.

Quod erat demonstrandum.

/I typed this before remembering someone on eBay did the exact same thing.

Although the Australian version did have special shows where younger kids played with their grandparents/parents (The Generation Gap) The type of audience our version attracts probably wouldn't work with this.

Indeed...besides, the Oz TPiR seemed to use gimmicks like this every so often...around the same time, they also had Celebrity Week, where celebs would join the contestants onstage for their PGs.

Besides, the idea was mulled way back when the show was in the development stages...in that Dennis James/Mark Goodson pitchfilm making the trading circuit, Goodson mentions the possibility of a PG involving 2 young children bidding to try and win a prize for their mothers...thankfully, this element of child exploitation was scrapped before they made it to air.

ObGameShow: One of the celebs on the aforementioned Aussie TPiR's Celeb Week was 90s $otC host Glen Ridge.

Who says they have to shop for them?  I happened to work in a grocery store for six years; I had a fairly good idea of how much many grocery items cost.

You might want to get rid of Master Key on your game listing...'cuz I have a feeling you're going to need the Master Key to unlock this thread.

(Which will never happen).

When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"
