Of course, none of this answers my question, which is whatever happend to Saturn?
[/quote]
An unasked question never gets answered... Generically, Saturn is a brand of General Motors, still very much in existence.  If your question is in fact "has the price is right ever given away a Saturn car" then a search at the summaries over at Golden-Road.Net says that the last Saturn given away was in 2003.  (I think 11/4/2003).

I know Saturns have been given away.  I remember Saturns being given away.

And just because you're owned by GM or FMC or Daimler doesn't mean squat.   Just ask Mazda and Saab.

Aren't they still owned by GM? I don't remember ever seeing one offered on TPiR...not to say it hasn't been offered, I just don't remember.

Are they still given to Survivor contestants?

No GM cars are being given to "Survivor" contestants this season--GM jumped out, along with Procter & Gamble (no "Casa de Charmin" or "Febreeze Family Moment" this season).  They say it's not because of the whole racial tribe thing, but they're lying.

Golden opportunity for the Massengil folks, if you ask me. The "Douche Of The Week" would be a great addition to the show. :)

And wouldn't you know it, a Saturn was offered on today's show.

Funny how one shows up the day after we comment on the lack of them.

And it was the only one that, according to Brandon B., isn't crap (Saturn Sky) :)

Though it really looks like it's compensating for something.

I guess the next question about Saturns and Price is "What happened in the interim"?

Your point is lost on me.  Ford doesn't outright own Mazda.  GM owns Saab.

And just to confuse the matter even further, Ford and GM are talking a merger.
