You know more about the world of quiz bowl than I do (actually, it's been specifically proven that you know more about a great deal of stuff than I do...) but the phrase I always associate with College Bowl is "You're playing for a 25 point bonus question, here's your tossup." Or, if you needed something shorter, just "Here's your toss-up." Frankly, though, that's going to be a pretty obscure one no matter what you use.

I'd tend to take your word on this, since I've only seen tapes of that show a handful of times, and it was a while ago. Other takes on most familiar GE College Bowl host-speak?
Dumb Dora: lost out to "match the stars." Also, not a catchphrase so much as a template.
"Whoopee": again, not really a catchphrase. (As I have self-defined it.)
But I might buy the "chosen especially for you thing" for TNG. What's the definitive phrasing?
