could someone tell me how these worked, all i know is that the four players with the fastest times in the "car game" would return to compete for additional prizes and the chance to win another car.

You asked this question in another thread. To my knowledge, it was answered.

And you were warned to type normally. Methinks your remaining time on this board is short.

In case PYLDude is right, and 'booboo' is on his way out the Exit door at the front of the aircraft:

The ten players with the fastest time to win the car during the past qualifying period come back to play again. Depending on the format "CC" was using at the time, the winner of the game/match goes to the winner's circle and plays the game again, this time with the clock counting up. The player who finishes the game in the fastest time wins the grand prize (trip around the world, $25,000, or so on), and any player who completes the task in fewer than 35 seconds wins another car. Cars offered during the Tournament of Champions were a step higher in value than those offered during the regular play. So no Geo Metros for THESE champs, thanks. Players also won whatever prizes were on their side of the board when they won a game during the whole thing.

Well, in fairness, the warning I gave him yesterday was to stop the abbreviations.

Booboo: now you've been warned, again, to capitalize properly as well.  Same deal as with the abbreviations.

EDIT: Didn't help.  See Behind the Scenes in a moment.
