Now imagine that you're in the state of Ohio and are going to be subjected to that weekly from now until question mark.

Yeah, well, I'm nowhere near Ohio, and I know I'm going to be subjected by that weekly from Henke.

I'm whimpering. Big time.

(Henke - a side note.  Just save yourself the time and energy and don't bother doing the recap. You'll get more out of your time by going outside and inhaling fresh air)

Don't televisions in Ohio change channels?

(I'm more looking forward to the month-old recaps that Henke will almost certainly favor us with. And by "looking forward" I mean "prepared to plunge a knife into my temple".)

I watched, just to see if the 'lottery game show' had evolved to any significant degree since "Cash Explosion." Round one was kinda neat; with the play it safe/risk for more paradigm working, along with the vote.

And then we get to the Elimination Round and the $50k Face-off, and it all goes to hell. Why would you bother stealing an unknown card from someone else? It's not like at the office Christmas party where I can snipe the Best Buy gift card from someone else, or open a package hoping for something good. There are six unknown cards, and only one of them being interesting to any degree. ($5,000 to leave the game early) And the $50k Face-off ended before we could see what the green balls did. Yawn.

I liked the first half, at least compared to other lottery shows, but the second half is completely awful.

There is only one thing worse than watching MMFMMR in Ohio...

...Watching Governor Bob Taft speak in Ohio.  (What does he have now, a *4*% approval rating???  They gotta use a decimal point in order to give him two numbers for his approval rating nowadays!)

Makes me glad I missed it. I'm not usually in on Saturday nights, and I wasn't watching CEDP in its waning years anyway.

Considering that the absolute best thing about it, by far, was that cute little opening animation/theme, followed by the fact that the too-loud-but-capable "dude" host didn't totally suck, followed by the fact that they did have to play a stupid nothing-but-luck game, followed by an even stupider nothing-but-luck game followed by the stupidest nothing-but-luck bonus game ever, I agree, it got progressively worse as it went on.

(By the way, why would you ever choose to go second in that bonus game?)

It makes me yearn for the genius that was Illinois Instant Riches.

I'm usually at work on Saturday nights at 7:30. Anyway, I only did HM for reference only.

No comment to the above.

As for the show.....I only heard the theme music [it's on T.Q's site]........and that's all I'll need to see or hear to know that this probably beats "Thousand Dollar Bee" for worst [or at least, most annoying] GS ever.

There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

I agree completely.  The only thing I remember from watching that show was the bonus round/end game.  IIRC, it was something like King of the Hill's (unsold pilot) maingame, right?  And that was killer.

Anywho, back to this disaster, where does the "Make me Famous" come in?

This was just plain bad.  Bad, bad, bad.
