Game Shows You'd Like To See Resurface.
« on: October 17, 2006, 03:14:09 PM »
With all the shows featured on websites recently suddenly uncovered thought to be lost forever, which show or shows would you like to see unearthed next.  I'm sure we all have our favorites, popular or not, you'd love to see next.  I thought this would be fun to see what everyone would like to see.  For me, I'd love to see some more Magnificent Marble Machine episodes to be uncovered.  It's got that cheesy, campiness I love.. kind of like the old Adam West Batman shows.  I'd also love to see more of Chuck Barris' Camouflage on tv.  I know I'm one of the few but I really liked this version.  Tom Campbell was great for the show.

So c'mon guys, let's see what you'd like to see come out of hiding next.

Anything Dick Sargent ever guested on.
And, of course, the Todd Russell version of Wheel Of Fortune.
Can't believe none of you voted for him.
But then again....neither did I.

Would Bewitched reruns suffice?  :)

Baffle, Baffle, Baffle.

And PDQ as well.

More Fleming Jeopardy!, more early 1970s daytime Hollywood Squares and more Concentration.

I'll second that.  How about anything that we don't have at least one episode of in the trade curcuit...

Yeah, but it's the first time under the new improved software.  :)

It's the Baffle/PDQ Hour!

Oh, wait, that wouldn't work so well, would it?

...and we're back to...Baffle,  Baffle and more Baffle.

Oh yeah...and a complete episode of Cross-Wits from the 1970s.

I'd like to have them find more "Money Maze"s and "Big Showdown"s.  More of Larry Blyden's shows.  Ever notice that Blyden only hosted shows that celebrities played?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

GSN should do whatever it takes to grab the rights to the few available eps of...well...It Takes Two with Vin Scully, as well as all the Spin-Off shows.  The latter needs to be taken out of the vault and run on the only network where it would ever fit in, while the tapes are still available.

Definately all of that, plus more Whew! and '76 Break the Bank (OK, we know GSN has it, but they haven't aired it in years) ...but I'd actually wouldn't mind seeing an episode of All-Star Anything Goes.

Don't laugh.

We're talking about finds for historical value, not what should be found and put on GSN, right? Dough-Re-Mi, Keep Talking, Top Dollar, and the old morning quiz For Love or Money. I see someone has unearthed a copy of High-Low, and that I would like to see.

I have a picture from the color section of a vintage TV Guide which shows the set of "Keep Talking" and the panel was seated on two tiers of three each, one tier above the other, similar to "Match Game."
