"Old" hosts on new shows

Congrats to Wink on his new pilot for GSN. With the casting of over-40s such as Regis, Meredith, Saget, Shatner, etc., and Wink's ubiquitous presence as Orbitz spokesman, I think the time was right to return one of game shows' biggest icons to the podium.

While not finalized, the deal for Arsenio to host the daytime DoND looks to be moving forward. What next?

It will be recorded on videotape.

More details? It's GSN's "Telethon"; it tapes next week.

Congrats to Wink on his new pilot for GSN. [/quote]

Randy:

I agree with your point, and if anybody was going to host a pilot for GSN's "Telethon" project, he'd be at the top of my list, considering his past experience with that particular genre (local cerebral palsy telethon host from 1978-88, if I recall correctly) and charities in general.

BTW Randy,

You might just want to check that Come On Down link in your sig.  Tried it twice and it took me to a Bally's "Oops" page.

You can't just stop the flow of bad puns like that. One is already more than can be sustained. When you've got 3, well, I think we can all agree: That's . . . well over the limit.
