Can't believe so many want Summers, a plank has more personality from what I've seen. Just wrong for Price.

My vote's merely for Summers because I am under the impression that Bergeron is just plain Off The Table. Seeing as he's doing that fill-in week on Millionaire, that may not be the case, and if that's so, I would give him the job in a second.

Ah, I was thinking of the question as simply "who do you want", and not considering the real life stuff of availability etc.

What exactly is it you've seen? If it's just History IQ, it was a fairly serious, uptight show, so that's not fair to judge him simply on that. If not, I'd like to hear your argument as to why you don't think he has much personality.

Mostly Wintuition, some other one offs here and there. Just seemed bland to me.

Go back and look at his Double Dare work. He showcased a personality (though it was half-way corny, but it was a kids show) and he had complete control of a semi-hectic show, similar to how Price is. I (along with many others) think this, along with a lot of television experience, reflects how well he could do.

Would it be too far-fetched to suggest Don Francisco?

Ah, Mario Kreutzberger!  Funny thing is he's made more hours of Sabado Gigante than Bob has of Price.  I still say no, even though there's not a whole lot difference in the atmospheres of the two shows.

If you could bring 1988 Marc into the future, then he'd be great, yeah. I don't think 2006-7 Marc has the energy - or the inclination to regain said energy.

From what I remember back in the ol' College Days, I seem to remember Marc doing a pretty decent job on Couch Potatoes.  Compared to other shows he's hosted, CP would be the closest to TPiR as far as energy level, contestants and the casual element of the show.
