IGAS '72 - Guest Music
« on: November 20, 2006, 12:19:12 PM »
watching the clip of IGAS with Elliot Nootrac ('cartoon' spelled backwards) on pageoclips, and just wondering what the music used for his enterance was called? Was it live music only used for show, or stock music? Very catchy. Any info at all would be great. Almost sounds Herb Alpert-ish, but I always think of Alpert from music like that.

Thanks

I didn't see the clip, but I thought they generally used "Jeepers Creepers."
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Although not credited, I think almost all of the cues other than "This Could Be the Start of Something Big" on that version of "IGAS" were Score Productions library music.  The fee plug cue that was used for the second half of the run (when the fee plugs ran at the top of Segment 3) was invariably used on "WML?" and "TTTT" to accompany any clips of anything motorized racing.  And what became the closing theme had to be recorded at the same session that yielded the theme for the 1971 version of "Password," because it has a very similar sound.
