New Countdown host named

No one's mentioned this, but Countdown has a new host.
 
   He's Des O'Connor, who once hosted a UK-produced US variety show, Kraft Music Hall: The Des O'Connor Show back in 1970 (and he once appeared on Concentration to promote it).

   If anyone wants a link, I'll post it later.

http://www.des-oconnor.com is his personal site.  I still don't recognize him, but he's got a nice singing voice.
