Jakks Pacific reports it has signed a deal to produce a Plug and Play game version of 1 vs. 100, to be released next spring for around  $19.99!  Of course, it's been reported that a Plug and Play version of Deal or No Deal should be out around that time, also!

A separate report on buzzerblog.com mentioned that JPs Wheel of Fortune game is now in blister-packaging, but that the newer versions DO NOT have the "gamekey refill," capability; that it looks like if any future editions do come out, you'll have to buy a whole new gizmo, with new software built-in.

It was listed as "Coming Soon" on the Jakks TV Games website for a while, but has since disappeared, which is not promising.  I'm more interested in the 1 vs. 100 game since that's actually a multiple-choice game and Jeopardy! is not.

True, but I just stumbled across a picture of the device (or at least a prototype), at Entertainment Earth's website, which lists it as coming June, 2007!
