Oh That Fox!

Let's see, there was *Nanny 911* ripping off *Supernanny*.

Then *Trading Spouses* ripping off *Wife Swap*.

Then *The Next Great Champ* ripping off *The Contender*.

Now CBS announces a kids vs. adults game show.  So what does Fox do?

You guessed it...

Odd that Mark Burnett and Mike Darnell are working together -- especially after the whole *Contender*/*Next Great Champ* fiasco.  Only in Hollywood, I guess.

Am I crazy to think that Fox may try and schedule this after *AI*?

Nice concept, but one thing sticks out like a sore thumb.

"Contestants will start out with $100,000...."

Why?
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

'Cause they have to start out with something?

I don't know.  I'm not a big fan of shows that are all about the negative --"Our show is 'how dumb are you?'"--but I'm married to a fifth-grade teacher, and seeing the stuff that her kids are working on (often, stuff that I've forgotten), this show sounds like fun.

Variety said Fox ordered 8 episodes of this show...

The oddsmakers in Vegas say the over/under is 2.5 episodes before Fox cancels it.

2.5 eh?  So, what, are they suddenly going to switch to a Simpsons rerun halfway through the middle of episode 3?  :-P

Please to be researching how "over/under" propositions work. (hint: Wikipedia gets it wrong.)

Frankly, I found it refreshing that someone around here got it right for a change.

I (mistakenly) believed the :-P indicated I wasn't quite serious with what I said.  I'm perfectly well aware of how over/under works.

/Tried to go for 2.5 based joke
//Missed it wide right
