Please Mr. Please, I hope I won't have to get physical here.  By some strange twist of fate, my DirecTV program guide already spoiled who the totally hot guest is.

I've gotta say, this entire thread has put me right into Xanadu.

Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

I've got something better to do than to continue this bad run of song titles.

Don't I, Sam?

So you have to bet the whole thing?  You can't double/nothing just part of it?

No one (with sanity) will ever do that.  What are they thinking?

I will remind you that you are talking about DoND contestants, who are already pre-screened for a lack of sanity before the show even comes up out of black.

But leave it to NBC to even screw this up.

Maybe the player who won $200 last Wednesday.  But you're right--no one will wager an entire five, six, or seven-digit payoff.

"Gee Howie, I just took the deal with 5 cases left, turning down an 80% chance of increasing my money by half and a 20% risk of losing it all.  But now that you've brought out those giant cases, sure-- I'll take a 50% chance of losing all my money!"

It's a fundamentally stupid concept.  If the player is willing to take that risk, that player would still be opening cases-- where the odds of losing everything are smaller.
