TPiR DVD Box Differences

From Yahoo! Shopping Search

Look at box #1, box #2, and box #6.  Do they all contain the same game?

(Yes...I do realize #2 & #6 do...but I donno about #1)
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

You mean, that the Price Is Right is on D.V.D. now?

And, does Best Buy have it?

No, he means "is game in box #1 the same as game in box #2 & #6".  They are all clearly games and not episodes on DVD.

When the links inside box #1's are clicked, it takes you to a list of places you can buy it.  On the "check the store" links, you wind up seeing a box just like #2.

It's not unusual at all for box art to change between the time that the game is promoted and the time it actually reaches the marketplace.  Endless Games released prototype art for their fourth edition of Password which had the word "fourth" misspelled!

Note that if you click on #9 (which has the same box art as #1), you're taken to an Amazon page where the correct box is shown.  They're all the same game.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Endless also only put one pricer in their first rehash of the Price Is Right home game. What's your point? :)
