Speaking of GS themes in commercials...
« on: January 08, 2007, 10:23:53 PM »
Well, I'm sure the majority of you have ears better trained for this than I do.  But while watching football yesterday, I repeatedly saw a Subway commercial where the gag is that the burger has been under the heat lamps for so long, it catches fire.  What got my attention though, was the muzak playing in the burger joint.  It sounded familiar at first, but I couldn't place it until hearing it a couple times.  Then, it hit me: it sounded an awful lot like a de-jazzed version of the '80s "Hollywood Squares" theme.  Did anyone else catch this, or have I completely gone off of it?
"Speed: it made Sandra Bullock a household name, and costs me over ten thousand a week."
