Smarter than a Fifth Grader

First one, found on "Shop Talk", a TV trade website:

Fox is announcing a new game show, "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" If you are watching Fox, the answer is pretty obvious.

And this, from the Chicago Sun-Times 1/23/07 -- the "QT" column:

It'll be elementary, my dear
A Fox Entertainment executive regarding the new show "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?" that will quiz contestants with questions from elementary school textbooks:

"While most game shows measure how smart you are, this is a show that will measure how dumb you are."

But isn't this the function of Fox News?

Do I get partial credit for bringing it up to the masses?  :)

/It's as close as I'll ever get to LOTD consideration.
