Another DOND electronic game!
« on: January 24, 2007, 07:21:14 PM »
Stumbled across a couple of items slated to come out in April/May at the Toys R Us site.

First, yet another DOND electronic game, which looks like it might be even better:

Second, iToys new 1 VS. 100 game, with a closer view, the box art (or at least prototype box art), and bit of detail about it.  It looks like maybe the device will have questions stored on cartridges, and expansions cartridges available as well, since the one shown says, "Series 1--Trivia Questions."

I have my doubts about the Deal game. It looks like exactly the same electronics as the regular handheld one, but it'll have annoying voices and isn't nearly as portable.

1vs100 tabletop looks cool (I'm a sucker for Wireless Remotes). We'll see what they do it.

//One of my favorite tabletop/handhelds to date was Jeopardy! Remote, because it was a fun game with the remotes. That game saved me in College, we had a group that would always play at lunch.

From marbles to monkeys?  Clearly, they're trying to entice the young ones on the DoND Talking Pass N' Play game.  I'll stick with the PC version.

As for 1vs100, this one looks intresting.  I wonder how they'll incorporate those wireless Remites.  The thing that I'm anxious to see is how they'll determine how many mob members missed a question & whether the game is as close as the real deal.

I think I saw a cheesy sci-fi movie about that once. The Wireless Remites invaded Earth and decided that a gas pump was actually a well-hung citizen.

Private Function WhoGotItWrong(WhosAlreadyOut As Integer) As Integer
