Ever Wanted to Know TPIR's Ratings in Daytime...
« on: January 30, 2007, 11:14:16 AM »
With all the recent talk of the Nielsen's invading the college dorms and if TPIR would improve its demo numbers, Marc Berman has the current daytime numbers for the program.  (As you most of you know, first and second halves are treated as separate shows.)

Isn't that the first time I see any half-hour of TPIR crack the top spot in total viewers?

It's not the first time it's happened.  Whenever Bob mentions the show is number 1 in daytime, it's the second half he's talking about.  That said, I never knew the first half was gaining ground against the others.

When Bob mentions that the show is Number 1 in daytime, he's speaking from his own swollen ego. Do you think his lackeys really tell him "Yeah, it's only the second half that's doing well"?

The soaps don't break into half-hours, why Price?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

I'm going to assume it was because all the other game shows were a half hour.  And even though they've all gone away, the custom stuck.

And, unfortunately, "The View" beats "TPIR" in the money demos.  And that's why you see all those Scooter Store and Liberty Medical Supply ads on "TPIR."
