Merv's game show appearances
« on: January 31, 2007, 12:50:03 AM »
For no reason other than to occupy time this Tuesday night, I've been researching to see if there are any more celebrities who belong to that elite "Six Decade Club."

What about Merv Griffin? He was a celebrity guest on To Tell the Truth in the 50s & 60s, The Movie Game in 1971, and Martha Stewart's Apprentice in 2005.

The 80s and 90s is where the small quandary resides.
He made brief appearances on 'Wheel' in 1989 and Ruckus in 1991.
Would these appearances still be enough for him to be considered the 11th member of this Six Decade group?
Did Merv even actually PLAY on any game shows in the 80s or 90s?
