The original Adblock - more than the security features, more than my boredom with IE6, and more than just about anything else - is what sold me on Firefox a couple years back (I can't believe it's been so long).   Switched over to Adblock Plus last time I did a reformat & reinstall.

Some folks are starting to get a bit sneakier - best example I can find is the new version of Yahoo Maps - the entire map program is a flash object, so they actually embed the ad inside the Maps SWF, forcing you to view the ad regardless.

/It's more than Adblock, it's Adblock Plus!

Apparently you are not aware that outright begging people to click on your ads is against the Adsense TOS.

Is this one of those cases where the webmaster gets paid for the ads that get clicked on?

/Usually $0.000003 per click. :-P

Just think of it this way: For every thousandth of a cent, you get one new instrument on the MIDI songs.

If you hadn't, I was going to.

Sadly, I don't think he's listening to our complaints in that regard.

AdSense is a scam anyway.   Accumulate more than a dollar or two in revenue, and Google will close the account citing something about "fraudelent clicks."  Happened to me and several other bloggers I know.  And no, we weren't violating the TOS.

I didn't know about Adblock (Plus) until you posted about it, as my Firefox wasn't giving me the option of adding on to the browser.  Looking at the OP's site, it got rid of the Google ads.  Thank you, Chris.

Would it be low to offer an amount not exceeding 1% of the Malcolm Jackpot to the person who reports the TOS infringement and gets some sort of action done in the matter?  I would never do that, really. 0:-) *polishes halo*

(Before anybody asks, yes, 1% of the MJ is low.  There.  I got a joke out of the way for y'all.)

Unfortunately, one thing adblock is not as good for is the "GetRewardz" (Because everything that's written in plural is worth writing with a z) referral link at the bottom.

Nice logo!  I particularly like the little rectangle with a big red X in the upper left corner.
