Personally, as much as i liked some of the shows shown back in October 2000, i.e. hot potato, Wheel of fortune, to tell the truth, 25k pyramid, etc... The way that schedule repeated itself sucked. also, limited match game, and WAY TOO MUCH Newlywed game. don't get me wrong i LOVE Newlywed game, but it does not need to come on as much as it did in October 2000.

I kinda liked having the repeats.  I could actually go outside and know I wasn't missing anything
I'm not a fan of the professional card player shows, so I prefer the 2000 sked.

And I liked having more B&E product, mainly TJW and TTD, so I'd prefer 2000 as well.

To go off the board, I'd go exactly two years earlier to October 1998.

It's all going to come down to what people haven't seen before or what they long to see. Personally, I'd love an opportunity to catch more TTTT from the 70s than I've seen, that sort of thing...but even with that, I'd take the current schedule. It's more diverse, I'm more apt to watch it on a whim, etc. "Hollywood Showdown" and Another Dawson Feud vs. a rerun of "Mythbusters?" It's smart of them to try to develop stuff for the prime hours, when there's already a bevy of shows competing against them on cable alone, not to mention network juggernauts. I sort of the like the "ooh, they're putting Body Language back on in mornings" vibe with their current decisions, because that stuff I'll watch. No random syndicated talk show or sitcom rerun will win out that battle.

This brings up a good point, and honestly, the 2002 schedule was another good one, with the primetime originals (Whammy, Friend-Foe, Russian Roulette) and eventually, Lingo and WinTuition. In the daytime, you had a good mix of reruns, esp. when they went for the Breakfast With the Stars lineups. Would love to see them go back to what they had in the early-2000s.

Two runs of Pyramid (which I assume hadn't been rerun abused to death at the time) and TTTT every day is all I need to prefer 2000 over 2007.

I'd rather take the December 2000 lineup, as it had the CBS run of The Joker's Wild at 11 AM.
