Well, it was another episode with Bill Cullen on the panel. Also, it featured Gary Moore as host with the "updated" blue and brown set. The date of this ep was in 1974. Yes, GSN left in the copyright date:):)

Running the count up to five consecutive weeks of "Cullen Overnight."  I haven't seen the episode yet, was there anything particularly interesting or noteworthy about it?

They could name this spot  "The Bill Cullen Show" and have enough material for once a week airings for years..And that might not be such a bad thing..

Man...if that happened...I'd beg for GSN.  And wouldn't it be closer to decades (if not a century) worth of material, once a week?
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

Not sure that they should rename the slot.  TIVO and your on-screen program guide would continually list that Betty Brewer and the Milton DeLugg Trio are the guests in perpetuity. :)

No doubt, and just from guest appearances alone. In fact, not to slight his hosting abilities, I think that's where he was so entertaining...he stole the show without upstaging the host or contestants.

For anyone interested, the central character in the first game was double agent Dusko Popov, who claimed to be Ian Fleming's inspiration for James Bond.

Not only that, they even managed to leave in a couple of fee plugs (one for Best Western hotels).

Also, Alan Alda was on the panel.  And game #2 (the guy who lost all the weight and made the Guiness Book of Records for it) had a rather unexpected outcome.

That's hilarious--what's it from? Is it a Cullen thing or a Jan Murray thing?

Even if I wasn't a Cullen fan, that song makes me giggle every time I hear it.  In twenty seconds, Milt sets the stage, identifies the cast, gets in a sponsor plug and lets you know exactly what kind of show to expect.  Twenty seconds. Plus he gets in a rhyme for "Delugg."  Genius!

*sigh* They just don't open shows like that anymore.

The opening to radio's Stop the Music wasn't bad either.
